Dian Shi Arts Center was founded by famous educator, artist and designer Professor Xuewen (Patrick) Chen in 2001.

　　Over the years, Dian Shi Arts Center has established a professional artistic environment and stable student body. It consists of both Eastern and Western teaching style, which helped numerous students to be accepted into many prestigious schools around the world, including Princeton University, Paris School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design, University of Waterloo, University of Ryerson, Sheriden College, OCAD, University of Toronto Schools, Claude Watson Arts Program, Cyber Arts, The Arts York Program, etc.
